"FLIPPING OUT" is a short live performance that builds largely upon esemplasticity of seemingly incongruous styles and media between singers, dancers and other visual and performing artists. The "Flipping Out" libretto, written and composed by Laurie Amat and Fina Gloeckner, and is based on a novel "Last Flap" by South African writer Bethasamante Reory about 2 underwater explorers in search of the mythical Atlantis, and wandering mistakenly into the realm of yet unknown ocean floor beasts that live and die by strangely familiar laws.

"Flipping Out" has been premiered on August 24, 2003, in San Francisco Goodman-2 Arena. See schedule for tours and future performances in your area.
