How a R-Evolving Timeshare (R.T.® ) will work for you ?
Jakub Kalousek employs his phenomenal drawing skill to render your idea, product or mere text in his new series of TIMESHARE paintings. Jakub will draw your image/text in the area that you select and you will TIMESHARE that area for the life of this work. Jakub will assimilate your imagery in his unique evocative style, with his dominant subject matter, and with imagery of similarly minded collectors/investors who purchase other parts in Jakub’s painting. The result of this multi-tiered fragmentation is ich and unfathomable work of art that is playfully redeeming for both, the participants as well as an unsuspecting viewer. In Jakub’s TIMESHARED” prototype drawing “FUERZA BRUTA” (pictured below), several collectors participated and TIMESHARED parts of the drawing with their individual requirements (yellow squares). FUERZA BRUTA was eventually purchased by one of the TIMESHARE collector for a book cover.
To become TIMESHARE owner in Jakub’s several current TIMESHARE projects, you will, first, purchase a desired area designated by a grid. You can choose from a single to multiple squares in any configuration. Each square costs a fraction of the cost of the whole painting, which is one reason why TIMESHARING within Jakub’s artwork is so attractive. At the same time, your idea will be living next to ideas and images of other “soulmates” the same way it works in reality around you.
Next, you decide what you want Jakub to draw in your “TIMESHARE” area. It can be your favorite pet, a dream you had last night, or your company’s new logo. You choose the content and imagery and placement - Jakub will “transubstantiate” your idea content into a narrative composition that takes on a life of its own.
After the work is completed you will be able to bid to purchase the whole painting in a TIMESHARE collectors-only auction. A limited edition of prints will be available for purchase if you decide not to own the painting itself. Even if you do not end up with the artwork in your collection, your TIMESHARE, in Jakub’s unique artwork, will keep working for you. It will carry on your presence as a time capsule in a highly visible and yet subtle way, whether it is a gallery, private collection, public space or a book cover. Ensconced in the painting permanently, TIMESHARE will immortalize you in perpetuity.

* Jakub Kalousek’s* disarming mind works out exquisitely the penultimate dilemma of a discerning art collector and/or shrewd businessman. Jakub’s attitude towards the human ego’s intrinsic predatory marketing predisposition is to fully accommodate it. By allowing investors’ “hungry brand” to be ingested into Kalousek’s very own “auteur” bile tract, their business strategy ( aka “soul”) is elevated into an uncanny billboard piece of art, that reflects their - the collectors’ - prehensile entitlement to the meaning of artist’s work. It bestows on the “collector” the right to interpret the artist’s work (or at least a part of it ) without fear of embarrassment ... And yet, if they want to be traditional collectors hoarding the works in their mansions, they have the option to purchase the completed artwork at the exclusive TIMESHARE members only auction. The other co-owners of this “art condo” are not shortchanged either, as their investment in the painting is perpetuated in time and space without any further expense or worry, and, most importantly, with minimal environmental impact. This is genuine eco-art, very green, very “callow-sec”.
